Be Kind To Others

Be kind to others. Why is that concept so hard to grasp sometimes?

You may see someone feeling down. You may know someone who is not their own natural self. Have you stopped that person to ask why? Do you even care why that person may be feeling so down? Chances are, (s)he could be having a bad day and needs someone to talk to. Why not that person be you?

Have a heart and take a chance to speak to this person. You could light up his/her life with a smile and a simple “Hello.” You could light up his/her life with a genuine question just to show you care about the person. You may or may not know the person, but that’s what makes it special, especially if you don’t.

Be kind to others. Be a friend, or make a new friend. Enlighten someone else’s heart and show you care and ask if (s)he is alright. It may not mean much to you, but it sure makes a whole difference and meaning to a victim of bullying. Take the time out of your day and be kind to others.

Is that too hard to do? Or is that asking too much of you to do?
