It’s All In The Eyes

Whether or not a victim survives the bullying (s)he is going through and grows up into adulthood, the pain never escapes. (S)he can be smiling on the outside but crying on the inside, be silent on the outside but screaming in the inside, and want to hide from the outside world, but the pain is always there. (S)he can be open about the bullying and defend and fight for others , but the pain is still there. You can always tell – it’s all in the eyes.

tears of pain

The best medicine for this – cry it out, share the experience, and gain a new friend. Because every bullied victim always needs a new friend – one who has welcoming, friendly eyes.
