Support Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance

As part of our fundraising, we ask for a donation to help support our cause. Proceeds go towards building or leasing a space for local Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Community Center, which will provide counseling services through a Joint Venture Partnership, offer workshops and seminars on bullying prevention, promote our establishment, offer martial art classes, offer a Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance Store, which will include t-shirts, wristbands, buttons, and posters, and our annual National Bullying Prevention Month Conference.

Meet the Alliance Board of Directors

Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance selects their Board of Directors based on the following criteria:

  • Availability to meet on the first Wednesday of the month for Board of Directors meetings,
  • Skills to execute in a timely manner for the required position (s)he has applied for,
  • Fulfill the requirements as a Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance membership for the Board of Directors,
  • Complete a background check,
  • Complete the interview process, which includes submitting a professional headshot and short biography of self for site administrator to place on Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance website,
  • Professional courtesy toward others,
  • Have a desire to work with kids of all ages and even adults who have been or are being bullied.

From Salem, Virginia:

Brian Eads.

Brian Eads is 33 years old and has lived in Salem, V. A. since 1988. He graduated from Salem High School in 2003 and is currently a student at Virginia Western Community College. Brian has worked at Goodwill Industries of the Valleys for 12 years.

Brian feels that overcoming adversity with school and work will allow him to be effective as a Team Leader with Your Life Matters Empowerment Alliance. Brian’s most recent experience going through mental health treatment provides him knowledge to help those that are struggling with similar issues.
